The best way to understand hair botox is to see what it does. Below are real results from our salon, plus what to realistically expect from your own before-and-after.
What the "after" looks like
Straight after a hair botox treatment, most clients see:
- More shine — dull hair looks glossy again
- Smoother texture — frizz and flyaways are tamed
- Softer feel — hair feels nourished, not straw-like
- Healthier-looking ends — damaged areas are filled and smoothed
It's a repair-and-revive treatment, so the change is about condition and smoothness rather than a change of style or colour. (New to it? Read what hair botox is.)
Who gets the biggest transformation?
The more damaged or dull your hair is to start with, the more dramatic the before-and-after. Hair botox shines on:
- Dry, brittle or over-processed hair
- Frizzy hair that needs smoothing and moisture
- Dull, lifeless hair that's lost its shine
- Coloured hair that needs a condition boost
If your hair is severely damaged, we may pair it with a reconstruction treatment for an even bigger improvement.
What it won't do
Honest expectations matter. Hair botox won't straighten very curly hair (that's keratin or nanoplasty), and it won't change your colour. It makes the hair you have look and feel its healthiest.
How long the results last
Expect your before-and-after glow to last 2–4 months with good aftercare. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and wash less often — see our aftercare guide.
